Sukabumi Regent H. Marwan Hamami said the bicycle event could be an alternative for recovery and strengthening economic growth in Sukabumi Regency, especially in the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu Geopark area.

According to the Regent, there are 5 events scheduled by the Ministry of Tourism and the creative economy in Sukabumi Regency.

"The 5 events include the geopark marathon, geopark triathlon and other events, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the activities have been halted for two years, but starting this year, hopefully the pandemic will begin to decline and events supporting the rise of tourism can be carried out," he added.

With the implementation of this activity, added the Regent, it can have a positive impact on tourism development and has the potential to support economic growth in Sukabumi Regency.

On that occasion, a member of Event Organizer One 0?Sick, Hilmi, explained that the route that will be taken by the participants of the 2022 Ciletuh Trial Bike Event is to start from Samudara Beach Hotel exploring around the Ciletuh Geopark area then turn towards Waluran-Kiaradua and finish again at Palabuhanratu

Hilmi still said that the participants who took part in this event were not only Indonesian bikers, but also participants from abroad

"The Ciletuh 2022 jajal bicycle event is not only attended by bikers from Indonesia, but there are approximately 15 people from abroad," he explained..
