Curug Gentong is a multilevel waterfall which is still in the area of the Jampang Plateau. The walls of this waterfall consist of sedimentary rocks, tuffaceous sandstones and breccias, part of the Cikarang-Jampang Formation, which was formed around 23-16 million years ago (Lower Miocene). This waterfall can be seen from the edge of the provincial highway connecting Simpenan and Waluran Sub-District. Visitors must walk for approximately 15 minutes down the valley to reach the waterfall (picture attached).
