This area is the Cikarang River estuary as the second largest river in the geopark region. A small, solitary and exotic island is located in the middle of the Cikarang River estuary, where the rocks are still sedimentary rocks from part of the Cikarang Formation which are deposited in the marine environment. These rocks were lifted to the surface due to geological processes and formed the plains as they are today. In the area around the Cikarang estuary, which is better known "Asabaland", there is a large coconut plantation area, which used to be a copra production. Presently, the sap from these coconuts is used to make traditional coconut sugar by a group of craftsmen from the local community (picture attached).
