Geopark is an abbreviation of "Geological Park" which is translated into Indonesian as a Geological Park or an earth park. The Ciletuh Geopark was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 2018, as well as a supporter of the local community's economy. Ciletuh Geopark is surrounded by alluvial expanse with unique rocks and beautiful scenery.
Ciletuh Geopark has an area of ??about 128,000 hectares and covers 74 villages in eight sub-districts, namely Cisolok District, Cikakak District, Pelabuhan Ratu City, Simpenan District, Waluran District, Ciemas District, Ciracap District, and Surade District. Initially, the Ciletuh Geopark only covered three sub-districts. The following are some of the tourist destinations in the Ciletuh Geopark:

4. Curug Sodong
5. Cimarinjung waterfall
6. Panenjoan Viewpoint

Ciletuh Geopark has a horseshoe-like shape (amphitheater) with a diameter of about 15 kilometers overlooking Ciletuh Bay. With an area that is under the auspices of UNESCO. So wide, the number of attractions in the Ciletuh Geopark is very large, reaching 70 attractions.
The charming natural panorama while traveling will amaze you, because the road that is traversed is winding and presents views that soothe the eyes and the heart. From left to right you will see beautiful views of the hills, as well as the stretch of beach that is visible when going to Geopark Ciletuh.
For those of you who will travel to Geopark Ciletuh, you should travel during the day, if you have to and will return at dusk, try not to be alone, and drive hand in hand with other vehicles. This is because at night the lighting to the Ciletuh Geopark beach location is very limited , and tends to be quiet, considering the winding road tracks, the right and left sides of the ravine. It is better if you stay and continue the journey at sunrise.
